The purpose of Quay Care is :-

To improve the quality of life for people through the provision of a community care service, providing practical, personal, and emotional care and support for people in their own homes, by well trained and dedicated staff. The care is tailored to the needs of the individual, which adapts to their changing needs and goals.

Service User's Rights. All service user's are given a copy of the agency's Service User Guide with information about the quality of care the service user has a right to expect at all times. If the service user feels the standard of quality of care is not being met, then the service user has a right to complain or make suggestions regarding the care they receive. Any complaint or suggestion will be taken seriously and acted upon. We encourage our service users to excercise their rights to the full.

Privacy. Any information regarding the client and family/friends or business is kept confidential. Any information held by the agency regarding the service user is kept confidential and stored in a locked cabinet in a locked room. Care is taken when assisting a service user with bathing and toileting etc.
